Clocks...

I've been playing with these Magenta stamps in July... I needed a christmas card for a challenge and this is also my DT piece for Pan Pastel BNL for today... I don't like when people create christmas cards in July, so this is to punish them, LOL.
PanPastel colors used:  :
Panpastel Bright Yellow Green Tint 680.8
Panpastel Bright Yellow Green 680.5
Panpastel Permanent Green 640.5
Panpastel Red Iron Oxide 380.5

1. Stampotique -  'Christmas in July'

This ATC sized card is going into my technique box:

Personally I like this one most, don't know whether that's because of the paper, or the embossing powder I've used.

Week 22 of Journal52 - Traveling

Travelling was the prompt for week 22.
Yes, I know I am behind, working hard to get back in track:)

I started off with some bookpaper from a roadmap. I glued it to the journal page, then covered it randomly with some gesso. The part where the car had to come, I added a little more, to cover the map better. The skyline was added, and all the other stamped images, to create the collage as shown. I added touches of color with watercolor pencils. I sponged with some distress inks...

"Wherever you go, becomes a part of you!"

STAMPS USED:
Skyline - Katzelkraft
Car - PSX
Postage stamp left - Kaisercraft
other postage - unknown to me.

Time to let go...

White heat embossing on a rather colorful background can be a little dramatic,
but I like it; suits the nice sunny weather we have at the moment.
The clocks reminds me of 'time', there is a time to hold and a time to let go:  Our daughter got married this week :)....
I distressed the edges with sanding paper, then added some gesso and scribbling to accentuate it.

Flowers for you...

Panpastel Yellow Ochre 270.5 and
Panpastel Phthalo Green 620.5

(The stamps are from Stampinback)

Flowers is what summer is about, isn't it?

You must have seen that there is a new monthly challenge at Katzelkraft, (closing on the 25th)! Don't hesitate to enter in the challenge, a 15 euro prize isn't bad, is it?

As promised a photo tutorial of my DT piece today!

Here you go:
1. Cut a piece of scrapbookpaper to the size you want it to be.
I also used the black border of the scrapbookpaper (didn't want to throw it away).

2. Stamp the image with a solvent ink.

3. Stamp the script randomly, also with second-generation stamping  (that's when you stamp it a second or even third time without re-inking the stamp).

3.Add some white to the flowers and leaves with a white acrylic pen, I've used a Molotov pen here. I've also used a dark brown marker to add some darker parts, to accentuate certain parts.

4.  Add some greens (just small touches) to the flowers and the leaves. I used a watercolor pencil.
Finish the card as shown.
DONE! Easy hey?!
