Who said playing with Nuance isn't fun ?

Creating backgrounds with Nuance powders and a (custom made) gelliplate is, as far as I am concerned.

Time for windy autumn days..

Playing with Nuance is awesome, but it's also a bit tricky, as you never know what happens to the powders. Not on a gelliplate anyway. So, just play!

HI !

My first post at Art Anthology is up today! 

I am thrilled and honoured to be able to show you a creation with some gorgeous products from Art Anthology!!

I created a double page in my art journal.

That meant play time, of course!

And messy fingers!

I've made this art journal by recycling an old book, by ripping every second page out of the book, and gluing 2 pages to each other, and I've torn all the edges off the paper.

That makes every page unique to start with!

Om even terug te denken aan de zomer ..

.. en dat doe je met een zonnebloem, toch? 

Ik had een klein stukje van een achtergrond waar net een ovaaltje uit kon, en vond het wel mooi om deze bloem op deze manier te accentueren. 

We'll have to accept another autumn..

... not that I don't like the colors.. but I like the warmth of summer more. 

Today I have a card and an ATC for you using pigment inks on fabric. 

It's really easy to do but I think I will have to look into this technique some more.. I think there is much more to discover. I might even try stamping onto fabric directly.

Stamp the images on tissue wrap with various colors pigment ink, and heat emboss with clear. Adhere a part of it to the fabric with decoupage glue . Assemble as shown. 

On the card I also added 3 cross-stitches.

Never forgotten..

This shows how beautiful it is to use Nuance powders on a gelliplate. I did not clean the plate after a previous print, but sprinkled some blue onto it, and misted it with water.

New TIMI challenge for October

Bladeren uit de tuin ..

Afdruk is gemaakt met een blad uit de tuin. Om het achtergrond mooi uit te laten komen heb ik besloten om op beide een tekst van Inkerbell te stempelen - distress inkt en heat embossen in clear. 

Colors change outside to autumnal ones

 I stamped this with a MISTI, so that I could stamp multiple times with different colors. Start with a light grey StaZon ink to have a base, and then add various colors with markers, one color at a time. Color around the image with two blue colors Nuance and a lot of water. Stamp the script with the same light grey StaZon ink as shown.
