Here I used some custom made texture paste : mix some white wood glue and gesso, works fine!

I wouldn't mind getting stitchy with such a beautiful pair of sciccors! 

  

The gloss you see is the shimmer from Glimmer mist - I used a background technique by spraying the mist and covering it with household foil until dry.

Claire's challenge to post an old draft

I am joining in Claire's challenge here to post an old draft.

This card has been made in April 2011, never got posted to my blog. Now it has!

I started with torn pieces of scrapbookpaper, and stamping over it with the border stamps. Then I painted it with watered down white acrylic paint. The swirls were heat embossed with black embossing powder.

I used a new technique (for me) here! Making a stamped collage with

different colors of inks.
