Bubbly flowers..

I used bleach to make the flower whitish again, and also added some white acrylic paint as they were still very yellow. 

The background: one from my stash, playing with pearly spray inks and water drops.

I added color and white to the leaves and background bubbles (own design) with watercolor pencils.
I splattered in the background with yellow ecoline .

Sunshine ... summer...

We are celebrating summer on the Magenta blog today: go have a look.. 

HOW TO:
Spray ink onto a custom made inkpad and stamp with it.
Stamp the silhouette flowers multiple times with a black solvent ink.
Add white touches around the stamped images to make them pop.
Stamp the sentiment, also with a black solvent ink.

Awesome.. you are!

For the background: playing with Distress Oxide inks is still very experimental to me. 

I bleached the color from the flowers and leaves, and gave it some very subtle coloring, to make the white areas stand out. 

I also used bleach to stamp the script in the background ..

... AND white heat embossing always make for beautiful contrasts with a colorful background!

A silhouette of a girl and soap bubbles ...

I started the background with a piece of a green gellliprint on music bookpaper.

Masking off the silhouette of the girl, I added a layer of gesso as shown. 

The bubbles were stamped on the leftover part of the gelliprint, and cut out. 

All the red coloring is from Nuance. 

I've heat embossed the script in white. The circles were added with structure paste.
