'Dank je wel ' ..

The background has been made with Bistre.
I colored the flower 'white' with Pearlescent Pan Pastel.
You can see the shimmer better on the second photo.

The stamps are from Inkerbell, from the sheet 'Klaproos'.

Laugh ...

*****

A photo step-by-step for you today..

I started by using this monoprint. Just a play with watery acrylic paints and a ghostprint of a stencil in the background.

Lay down your stencil and sponge the word 'Laugh' with a dark brown Distress ink.
(I masked the rest of the text to only get the word 'Laugh')

Heat emboss with clear embossing powder to give it more interest.

Lay down your stencil and sponge the image with a dark brown Distress ink again.

Heat emboss it with clear embossing powder too.

Use an acrylic marker to highlight the images and word.

Add some stamping.

Dream and Reality ...

I made this by spraying some Colorwash over the gorgeous template (it's 12x12), and then adding some salt to the wet inks.
When dry, remove the salt and finish as shown.

Hope you like it?!

I am entering this into the challenge on the

Thy Word...

All of the green on this card is the juice from a leave.
I ran it through the embossing machine, and sprayed it with a Sprayink while the card was still wet.
The text (Inkerbell Stamps) has been done with white heat embossing.
It says: "Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path" in Dutch.
I saw this technique first on Miekske's blog.

Today I show you another monoprint I used to make a card.
