Flowerssss

I am entering this card in the challenge on sirstampalot challenge for May.

Flowersss everywhere as it is spring in our part of the world.
So I decided to make a card with flowers.
One stamp stamped three times makes multiple flowers.

My Creative Monday for Magenta - Leaf collage

Another easy gelli printed background card from me today!

I tore the edges of it.
I stamped some script in the background.
The image was stamped onto tissuepaper, heat embossed with clear and painted white at the back; when dry adhered to the card with decoupage glue.

The sentiment finishes it off.

My Creative Monday for Magenta - Flower Gelli printed card

An easy card today: a gelli printed background that is beautiful all on its own.

The print ended up being grungy, but also has the flower image (from the mask) defined in such a nice way.
I added some black edges to the flowers; extra color to the inside of it, and around it to make it pop more.

I drew circles with a black marker and glued some thick glitter pieces to it.
In the background some script to finish it off.

I plan to adhere a printed Bible verse on the card before sending it off!

Sketchy Bird meets Antique Butterflies

An easy card today from me ..
I used leftovers from a sticker sheet that was monoprinted on (see this post) from my stash and cut 3x3 centimeter squares from it to form a square on a blank square card.

I stamped with orange and black background stamps onto the card to tie it all together as shown.

A fussycut bird, butterflies and a sentiment finish it off.

My Creative Monday for Magenta - Dragonfly

The background is a monoprint created by brayering out the paint and stamping in it with the script stamp; that was inked up with a purple ink first.
The script stamp was then heat embossed in white in certain areas.
The dragonfly is stamped with the same purple ink and colored with Nuance powders. I splattered with the purple colored Nuance in the background.

Colorful Flowery Cards

Two cards from a single sheet of a monoprint from me today!

I LOVE how this A4 sheet turned out, with all the stamping into the wet paint.

Guess what I've made with the leftover piece?
I rolled it to be paper beads; two centimeters wide ones starting it off with a strip of 30 by 2 centimeter of white paper. I like making them like this as now it has a white core, and I don't need a big leftover piece of colorful paper to make it sturdy. They have not been glazed yet and I am sure they will look marvelous then. I might add some script stamped to it still... make them match the background of the cards more.

As the backgrounds are quite colorful, I just added a fussy cut stamped image, and some words from a sentiment set.

I colored the flowers with a watercolor pencil, added more of the green and yellow into the background to match the flowers.

Have a nice weekend!

My Creative Monday for Magenta - a collage on the gelliplate

I LOVE to make gelliprints with stencils on the gelliplate

I chose to keep the final touches quite simple....

.. just a white heat embossed Words and Phrases stamp on top...

Hope you are inspired to go create!

My Creative Monday for Magenta - Monoprint printable 2

(Entering this card in the challenge on Stamping Sensations for this month )

As promised in my post from last week: four cards with one sheet of a monoprint.

I finished them off to be quite basic so I can add a sentiment when posting it to somebody.
White heat embossing, white accents around the flowers with a acrylic marker and a script in the background is what I did on all of them.
I tore the edges of all the backgrounds.
