Darkroom Door - challenge for September 3

I am entering this in the challenge on :

1. Darkroom Door September challenge - DDRS025 butterflies. 

Three Butterflies on a colorful background, stamped with a dark red stamping ink. 
Bleach takes the color away from within the stamped images. 
Extra color and white added to make the butterflies pop. 
White and colored splatters added in the background. 
Postage stamps and script added in the background, the stamped images were masked first.

Bleach takes the color away from within the stamped image. 
Extra color and white added to make the butterflies pop. 
White splatters added in the background. 
Postage stamps and script added in the background, the stamped image was masked first. I heat embossed the script in the background in white.

Rubber Dance tag

I created a gift tag with one of the Grungy Butterflies and a gelli printed background. It's quite an easy tag to make. A little Tip! White paint splatters are a nice finishing touch as well as stamping a bit of texture with a light ink. Like I did it here with the post stamp and Vintage Script.

Moody Winter Art journal page

 I had a play on an art journal page again today! 

The base is a gelliprint made with Pencil Marks stamps on the gelliplate. This is a page in my gelli-printed-papers-journal, in which I make a page with every stamp/set I own from Rubber Dance only once.

I chose this foliage stamp to go on this wintery and moody background as it depicts the winter weather we have at the moment, cold and freezy, foggy weather.

I had to splatter white acrylic paint for some snow on the scene of course. 

The page on the right is a very colorful page, in a big contrast to the one on the left.

Inky Flower Collages

Using pastel colors in my creations is always such a challenge to me. 

Creating some contrast solved it on these cards and I am aware that we all have our preferences for color and their depth/hue.

My Creative Monday for Magenta - Butterfly card

 

LOVE these colors... different reds and the greenish colors: part of a gelliprint I did a while ago. 
Some white paint splattering and butterflies that were stamped with red acrylic paint to top it off.
