Dragonflies are so beautiful...

 Hi all!

A background from my stash, some white heat embossing and a fussy cut of the dragonfly - that's all I needed for this card!
It's that easy!

Leaves and script....

As far as I concerned, this is new.
PanPastel sticking to white heat-embossing.
I started off with a dark blue cardstock, and my intention was to color the background only.

BUT, it sticks to the embossing! I used white embossing powder from Stampendous, maybe other brands won't give the same result.

COLORS USED:
Panpastel Phthalo Green 620.5
Panpastel Hansa Yellow 220.5

Being at the sea ...

Hi there!
The background (been created by cleaning the craftsheet) called to be used with this stamp!
I added the sun by sponging over a circle stencil with scattered straw distress ink. I added some additional color with watercolorpencils.

A favorite stamp of mine...

****

I love to make these type of cards, quick and easy. Collaging with stamps and stencilling is so much fun, especially when you use these new and beautiful stencils from Magenta! The difference between the cards is: the one with white, the other with black heat embossing.
HAPPY CREATING!!

Tutorial with heat embossing...

...for Katzelkraft.
Have you seen ?? there's a new challenge at Katzelkraft!

The challenge for August is EMBOSSING (any type).
Come join in the fun!

****

This is my inspiration tutorial:
1. Create a background by spraying with a custom-made pearlspray from Colorwash and Pearl-ex (or any other dye ink based spray)

2.Stamp the main image with a black pigment ink (and also on a piece of post-it note paper).
Heat emboss it with black embossing powder.
Mask it with the cut-out from the post-it paper. Stamp the script with the same pigment ink, and heat emboss with black embossing powder too.
Clean the oval - as it's glossy paper (and the ink is a dye ink), you will be able to get it white again.

3. Color the image with the same pearl spray that has been used for making the background.

 4. Add a piece of tranparent tape.
Add some mesh. As I couldn't adhere it with glue,
I decided to adhere it with the heat tool; it melts a little bit when heated.
Adhere it to the card.

Come join in the fun on the Magenta blog, there is a prize to be won!!

This was stamped with distress inks from my craft sheet, misted with some water.
When dry I outlined it with a fineliner, and stamped the script in the background.
