My Creative Monday for Magenta - a sunset

I used a colored background to start this card; ble for the water and yellow for the sky.
The stamp is already filled with sky, tree, water, branches and a horizonline. No need to add anything else.
Except of course a sunset. Sponging 2 different yellow inks over the stencil, and a second lighter reflection on the water gives it some depth.

My Creative Monday for Magenta - Happy Tree

There is quite a lot of shimmer going on on the card, it's almost as if the sun is just behind the tree.

I added glitter to the diecut word, and in the background as little dots.

I stamped the tree with various stamping inks in browns and greens; in a stamping platform of course, to be able to layer the stamped colors.

I fussycut the main part and the word from the same background paper, so they match.

My Creative Monday for Magenta - A scenery

 A scenery this time.

I started on a colorful background that, when I saw it, I could picture this scenery.
While stamping and coloring the sun, it just unfolded to this. Snowy, sunny, and even a blue sky, a few birds flying by.

My Creative Monday for Magenta - Trees in the sun

One of the new stamps - a design from Helene!
It's so gorgeous and makes for landscape cards very easily!

Before stamping the image, I covered the paper with gesso very randomly.
This makes sponging distress inks over it, also very random and splotchy.
