My Creative Monday for Magenta

Nuance makes for colorful backgrounds. You just need a tiny bit of Nuance on an acrylic block and a lot of misted water. This way they are not too dark to stamp on.
 I heat embossed the wire in white.

My Creative Monday for Magenta

The background is a leftover piece of cardstock to which I brayered some acrylic paint. I saved it as I thought it would make for a nice background.

2018 #19 Tissue Paper: Happy Tulips with ECF {by Ellie Knol}

2018 Topic 17: Tissue Paper

I am up on the Paper Artsy blog tonight..
go check and find all the info on how I did this.

Every fortnight Paper Artsy has a theme on their blog
 and several DT members show their take on the theme during the fortnight;
what's more, there is a challenge too, and a prize to be won of course!

The embellishments were made with clay, and some of them stamped into while still wet.

This fortnight the theme is TISSUE PAPER!!
LOVE to work with it!!

Book 20 - for series 52

week 20 : book 20
I know, I am behind but I don't mind if it takes a little longer to create 52 books.

This time a mixed media cover to an existing book,
a Bible that is very dear to someone I know.

I sew the (loose) signatures and binded it so it looks new and can be used again!
 I made the cover for it from sturdy cardboard, and with the elastic band as shown.

Some gold foiling in the wet paint and on the heat embossing.

LOVE the crackle and the colors.
