My Creative Monday for Magenta - circle collage

A round gelliprint incorporated as background for this beautiful foliage satmp.
A bit CAS for me, but I like it.

Art Journaling with Sketchy images and marks

A good day to you.. I hope you are doing well!

I had a play in an Art Journal,
to be true it was a challenge in my FB Dutch Art Journal group.
I gave the participants one assignment per day, as prompts, and also tips to go along with it.
They turned out to be 7 days of assignments.

I decided to share the days (steps) with Rubber Dance, why not?

We had fun!

For more info on the steps please see the full tutorial on the Rubber Dance blog

My Creative Monday for Magenta - Daisy Collage

Nuance powders on a stencil, and use that as a stamp after misting with a litlle bit of water.; that's the background.
Stamp a script in the background.
Sponge around the edges with yellow distress ink.

Add two fussycut daisies with 3D tape.

Yes.. the stamps are my own design!

Purple shades for Flower Challenge

Happy to join in with The Flower Challenge- shades of purple

Combining the purples with green, which for me is always a color you need if it's nature themed.
An embossing folder has been used to make the background, and distressed with distress inks.
To make the flower pop a little more, I added more color to the inside of the diecut.
I intend to use my dies more often...

Rubber Dance Challenge

A new month is a new challenge at Rubber Dance.. come join!

I created a booklet with some printer paper cut to size (6 double pages) as the signatures, sewn right to the cover.

The base is a gelliprint pulled from my 5x8 inch gelliplate.
I use this smaller one to cleanup my brayer, an the bigger 8x10 inch for the actual printing.
I even printed onto stickers, but that is a project still in progress.

Stamp the Sketchy Flowers onto the cover with Potting Soil Archival Ink and ...

... color it with watercolor pencils.

As you can see I created two of these books.

This is the mood board:

My Creative Monday for Magenta - an easy bound notebook 2

Create the notebook by folding black cardstock, and approximately  6 white papers in half.
- Use the 3-hole-binding to bind the notebook with waxed thread.
- Cut the book to size.

I had a part of the colored background left and created a bookmark from it.

I folded the bookmark and added a thin strip of red doublesided tape to the upper edge on the inside.
This way it will stick out a little at the top of the notebook, but also stay put.

The background has been colored with Nuance. I love these colors together.
