A row of textured houses

I have a fun tutorial for you today..

The how-to:

- Find or create an A5 sized background with a darker and a lighter part as shown.

- Cut the lighter part to size as the background, in my case it measures 10 x !4,3 centimeters.

- Stamp the houses on the rest of the colored cardstock with a black ink.

- Fussycut all of the houses.

- Add white highlights to all of them with a white gelpen.

- Stamp some doors and windows on a leftover piece in an opposite color, for example a yellowish window for a bluish house and vice versa. Fussy cut these too.

- Add extra color to part of the houses in corresponding colors.

- Adhere the fussycut windows and doors to the houses. Also stamp a bigger window and adhere it onto one of the houses, just for fun.

- Stamp Mixed Media Stamps to the background with corresponding colors and a grey.

- Adhere all the houses to the background, I chose to stick 3D tape to some of them for more interest.

- Add a happy quote to the card.

My Creative Monday for Magenta - Monoprint printable 2

(Entering this card in the challenge on Stamping Sensations for this month )

As promised in my post from last week: four cards with one sheet of a monoprint.

I finished them off to be quite basic so I can add a sentiment when posting it to somebody.
White heat embossing, white accents around the flowers with a acrylic marker and a script in the background is what I did on all of them.
I tore the edges of all the backgrounds.

Beach Ahoy for Rubber Dance

On this card I tried to create waves by tearing the paper horizontally, and adhering the ships on and between these waves.

White heat embossed script, birds and postal cancel stamp on the dark and colorful background creates more interest.

Just a little color added to the fussycut stamped images with PanPastel make them pop..

My Creative Monday for Magenta - Gelliprint Collage

Torn edges on a gelliprint.

I've used a mask to create colored flowers on a quite dark green background paint color.

A script and white accents finish it off.
