My Creative Monday for Magenta - white glue technique

I have a simple technique for you today, one you can use with any bold stamp: 
Dab white glue, like a wood glue, onto a bold stamp and stamp onto cardstock. Don't press too hard, or you will smooch the glue everywhere. 
Leave to dry. 
Sponge the background with distress inks; the glue will  take more of the color than the surface around it. 
Finish it off as shown. I stamped a script with yellow distress ink in the background, and added a white border around the image with a white acrylic marker.

I 've used the Echinacea - Silhouette[48.005.O] (own design)

and the Un simple regard (A Single Look) - French [07.481.I)

A day in the life of me...

.... is the theme at Journal52 in week 12. 

Yes, I am a bit behind. 

Hope to catch up in a few days' time! 

 A day is always like a puzzle, all pieces fit together to make a day... I guess the missing pieces are when you just take a brake, or sleep, or whatever, just enjoy.. relaxing in nature, being on the phone, cleaning the house... 

I's a pity a day has only 24 hours, and we need such a lot of sleep.. hehe

Lavender...

 Just as in my previous post, where I show you my new stamp designs with Magenta, I also only used two stamps on all these creations. 

The lavender is my design, the script is a golden oldie. 

 The previous 4 are ATC's, I will need them on the upcoming show where Magenta will also be, in April, here in Holland. It's called the Art Specially event, the most wonderful stamping show, once a year.

Holiday cards...

  I used some corrugated board to create these cards. To be able to stamp on it I gave it a few coatings of gesso. The main images were stamped with black Archival ink and heat embossed with black embossing powder. It makes them pop!

On this card I added some torn pieces of music paper, and painted it with watered down gesso... 

The images were colored with distress markers.
