My Creative Monday for Magenta - doodling with stencils

Doodling with only a stencil: sponging with distress inks will define the edges.
It makes it easier to doodle within the images.
Doodle some extra elements and create your very own composition.

After doodling, give some of the areas extra color.

New challenge at Craft Stamper - Take a technique

The TIMI challenge for October is " Take A Technique"
This month the techniques we would like to see involve the strapline on the new look Craft Stamper cover : Ink Stitch Paint Collage Print Paper
If your project involves any one (or more!) of those, (and stamping, of course!) then you're good to go!
Please note that while I am showcasing the ATB part of the prize, you can enter any style of project you wish!

YES, an Artist Trading Block!
I've never done that before!
It's fun..
I kind of like how it turned out

The block before dressing it up!

The left hand side!

I's even got (beads as) feet!

The right hand side.

The top of the ATB!

Here you can see the brown of the original block on the edges, I like that!

I've used stamps from Katzelkraft (background),
Magenta (dragonfly) and
Paper Artsy (script on top).
The flowers are diecuts.

I am entering this in the challenge on

A poppy in the wind...

A winelabel (yes, from Jacqueline from France) was the base for the background. Gesso, a stencil and the beautiful poppy and sentiment stamp make for the end result!..

I am going to show you 2 more cards with the poppy stamp in near future!

Anemone time ...

It's anemone time of year, and bright yellow colors!
It's just raining here in Holland, no spring weather to be seen, but we can still enjoy stamping spring!
