Naughty or NIce

I think this snowman is both!

A new TIMI challenge already, it's December 2016!!
It's Take A Theme: this time: 'Snow and Ice':
Create seasonal makes, or use lots of white product!
Think gesso, embossing paste, white paint, embossing powders and glitters.
Remember to include rubber/polymer stamping on your project somehow, somewhere!
AND only one project in your post.

The sponsor this time is Craft Box;  for more info see the challenge on the Craft Stamper website.

I chose to use this cute snowman stamp from Stampotique.. it's got flair don't you think?
It doesn't need any color :)

I am entering this in the challenge on
1. Stampotique designers challenge - naughty or nice ...

Two primary colors ...

Bistre again!
This time I've used an acrylic block to 'stamp' the red and blue bistre onto the background.
After it had dried, I splattered with some of the remaining bistre.

Art Journal page with theme - Experimental

The experiment on this page is: YES, using a product that's been in my stash for a while.... FAB FOIL!

IT'S MAGIC!! No reason for not using it.... you must give it a try!

Look at the shimmer!

Some notes on how I did this:

Backgroound is done with scribbling of Caran d' Arche Neocolor II  crayons, and then painting it with gesso.
The toadstools (Stampotique) and the ants (own design) and the insects were heat embossed with black.

The script (Stampers Anonymus) part: Bonding powder also gets done with versamark and the heat tool: after heating it with your heat gun, just as with embossing powder.... let it cool. Now this is different from embossing powder ; put the foil over the bonding powder, rub over it with a finger nail, and where the bonding powder is, the foil will stick,
MAGIC!

EASY!

SO, I will be using this product much more in future!!

This Art Journal page is for Journal52 week 40 - Experimental!
