"Positive words" art journal page ...
I had a look through all my text stamps to get to this.
I've never used so many stamps from different brands as on this project, LOL
Art journey, Stampendous, Hero arts, Prima Marketing, Stampinback, Stamping Up and Unity stamps, to get words as
laughter, love, together, hope, happy, laugh, enjoy, fun, memories, pretty, funny, fun, play.
The background is a monoprint, one I really love, so many things to look at, and I didn't want to cover too much of it up. So I chose to stamp them all with blue, brown and black and added diecuts (from Memory Box) to finish it off.
I wrote in the margin :
"I love ... words are just words.. they feel right, they are mostly positive ones. We like to hear them, as it makes us happy. If we love each other we also have more joy in our lives, and laughter!"
I am entering this in the following challenges:
1. Artist Trading Post for their first ever challenge - mixed media.
2. Simon Says Monday challenge - finishing touch
3. Journal 52 - Positive words.

Using paste and found poetry in monochromatic colors...
News of the day
big splash news
Spring is coming,
living up to
deepest thoughts of water,
new life it promises,
songbirds rise
forever upwards,
in our hearts,
hope you enjoy
their living up.!
I took parts of headers from newspapers and poems, wrote them all in WORD document,
then printed them, cut them in strips, adhered them as strips to the page,
covered it with gesso,
overwrote the wanted parts with a PITT artist pen.

Simion Says Stamp and Show your favourite stamp....
This sure is my favourite stamp!!!! It's from Stamping Up.
I bought it on Ebay, I think shipping was more expensive than the stamp itself! LOL
I had to have it!!
The text is from Paper Artsy, I also love this one, it's so versatile!

Chalky look with crayons - 2 ATC's
The gesso makes the colors to blend, and gives it a chalky look.
You have to stamp over it with StazOn.
I colored the flowers afterwards with crayons.
