My Creative Monday for Magenta - Flower on gelliprint

An ATC and a card from me today.
A gelliprint with a greenish light blue and pinkish magenta : a nice base for this flower stamp.

The gelliprint shows that I've used a flowery mask to make marks in the background.

AND yes: I've made beads again; this time not from the leftovers but from the biggest part of the gelliprint!

Row of Textured Houses - 2

This card has a little bit of a history; one I did not see coming, lol.

Earlier this week I decided I would want to use the Textured Houses stamp set for today's post. Got me thinking to search for a suitable background: something with blue on it for clouds and yellow to make it a sunny card. I found a background in my stash, a quite big one of which I cut backgrounds for 2 cards.
Then suddenly I had an AHA moment: I've done this before! Same idea, same colors and same stamps in this post!!

I stuck to my plan and decided to not fussycut the houses,
but stamp them directly onto the background.

The HOW-TO from here onward:
- Stamp the tiny houses and stars onto the background and heat emboss with clear.
- Color the houses with watercolors.

- Add white accents with a ..

... gelly roller.

- Add a pavement with the bricks stamp.

- Stamp some Mixed Media stamping onto the edges of the scene.

- Cut the background to size and adhere to the card base.

Sketchy Bird meets Antique Butterflies

An easy card today from me ..
I used leftovers from a sticker sheet that was monoprinted on (see this post) from my stash and cut 3x3 centimeter squares from it to form a square on a blank square card.

I stamped with orange and black background stamps onto the card to tie it all together as shown.

A fussycut bird, butterflies and a sentiment finish it off.

My Creative Monday for Magenta - Fun collaged backgrounds

Two cards from me today with a fun background technique.
The HOW-TO:
- Create a background stamp by placing the alphabet stamps into a stamping platform, just random tp fit the paper you'd like to stamp on.
- Ink them up with a color, preferably a watercolor marker, mist a little with water, stamp it.
Repeat the process with another color. Keep adding to the background until you are happy with the colors.
- Remove it from the stamping platform and heat emboss it with clear embossing powder.
- Optional: Stamp a script onto the background in various areas with Versamark ink and heat emboss in clear as well.
- Sponge the same colors onto the background and sprits with water. Leave to dry.
- Stamp the floral background stamp from EllieKnolDesigns with a black acrylic onto cardstock and fussycut some of them.
- Decoupage the fussycut flowers onto the background.
- Stamp a script onto the background and also onto the white flowers as shown, and use some Postage stamps to finish the collage of different elements.
- Optional: Use all the leftover pieces to make paper beads in the same color range. .

I hope you like it!
