Rubber Dance tag

I created a gift tag with one of the Grungy Butterflies and a gelli printed background. It's quite an easy tag to make. A little Tip! White paint splatters are a nice finishing touch as well as stamping a bit of texture with a light ink. Like I did it here with the post stamp and Vintage Script.

My Creative Monday for Magenta - Butterfly Collage

 

An easy colorful tag-on-a-card gave me some joy while creating it.

Bookpaper, stamped and (white) heat embossed tissuepaper, Nuance, gesso, fussycut ticket, butterflies and some Scrapper's floss made it onto the card to create a nice collage of elements.

My Creative Monday for Magenta - tag collage

Good day to you!  
This tag (on the second background) is a beautiful example of sponging (dark green) over a colored background with a mask.  

The bottom background is part of a torn book page colored in a lighter green. 

Stamping and splattering with an orange ink gives extra dimension. 

I added embellishments and white accents too.

A colorful background... stamp on it with Versafine black ... heat emboss with clear embossing... remove color from the images ... stamp a script... sponge over a stencil... add some green with a marker..

finished: a tag.. for Helene.. I gave it to her on the Art Specially event here in the Netherlands a few weeks ago.. .

Book 22

This time an accordion folded pocket book from 2 (identical sheets) of scrapbookpaper.  

It measures 12,8 x 17,5 centimeters.

 I added 2 covers that were slightly larger than the book, and coverd it with scrapbookpaper too. 

The tags are going to be filled with passport photo's of granddchildren of a dear friend. I will add them but didn't want to share them in this post for privacy reasons.

Playing with own designs for Magenta

Playing with my 'own design with Magenta' makes me happy. You must know that before the set of masks and stencils were released at Magenta, I've been playng with a custom made one for a time. I loved it so much that I decided to make a design of it. 

AND of course: you must've seen the script before.. that's text I wrote down one morning when I woke up. Still like it.. it's so versatile. 

I've used the gelliplate to create these; watered down Fresco Paints from Paper Artsy, misted with water after brayering it, and pushing the masks into the wet paint, and then pulling a print. 

That creates the watery effects. 

From a leftover piece I created a tag, which I glued to the inside of the card.
