My Creative Monday for Magenta - tag collage

Good day to you!
This tag (on the second background) is a beautiful example of sponging (dark green) over a colored background with a mask.

The bottom background is part of a torn book page colored in a lighter green.

Stamping and splattering with an orange ink gives extra dimension.

I added embellishments and white accents too.

Botanical Garden inspiration

Ellie here with you today;

I hope you are doing fine!

Creating a flower garden on paper... these flower images are fabulous in doing that.
Inspiration from nature, yes!

I stamped onto a background that was created with Distress Oxide inks.
To be able to stamp the flowers one behind the other, I had to mask off the rose image of course.

Watercolors were used to add the color ranges to the stamped images.

Have a good day, every day!

Nature's Flowery Treasures ...

Hi everyone!

I hope you are doing well!
Today I am sharing my process to capture the delicacy of the beautiful flower designs from Kay Carley. Three different stamp sets, three different approaches.
Paper Artsy's 2021 Topic 8: theme Nature's Treasure...
please hop over for all the detail and pictures, pictures..

I first planned to do some gelli printing for this theme; I spent an afternoon printing, yes. Unfortunately they did not awaken my creative spark to go ahead and stamp the flowers onto them. Yes, I was stuck.
I decided to go for what I wanted to do in the first place; clean stamping, coloring and continue from there.
My batch of colored A5 backgrounds in my stash came to the rescue, really!
A good start, my mojo was back...

The art journal pages each turned out so different.

Flowers.. one of nature's treasures : delicate, colorful, beautiful!

My Creative Monday for Magenta - Flower collage

This is quite an easy card to make.

the HOW TO:
Heat emboss the bubble background stamp in white.
Color the background with various colors of Nuance.
Add extra color to some of the bubbles to make them pop.
Stamp and fussy cut the main images. I stamped the flowers twice and used an extra flower in the collage.
Stamp with script in the background.
Adhere the fussycut elements.
