2018 #19 Tissue Paper: Happy Tulips with ECF {by Ellie Knol}

2018 Topic 17: Tissue Paper

I am up on the Paper Artsy blog tonight..
go check and find all the info on how I did this.

Every fortnight Paper Artsy has a theme on their blog
 and several DT members show their take on the theme during the fortnight;
what's more, there is a challenge too, and a prize to be won of course!

The embellishments were made with clay, and some of them stamped into while still wet.

This fortnight the theme is TISSUE PAPER!!
LOVE to work with it!!

TIMI challenge August 2015 - Pens and pencils

A new challenge from The Craft Stamper again!

For the challenge, we would like to to use your pens and pencils on your projects! You could draw or sketch a design, or use the pens and pencils for colouring. Copics, Distress Markers, Spectrum Noirs, watercolour pencils, paint pens and markers, whatever floats your boat! You could add detail with fine liner pens, gel pens or smudgy Stabilo pencil..... the only limit is your imagination! Remember though, there MUST be real stamping on your project. Digital images CAN be used, but must be used alongside  rubber/acrylic stamping. Have fun!

The prize this month is from Chocolate Baroque,
see the challenge page at Craft Stamper for more information.

My inspiration piece for this challenge is an art journal page.
Most coloring has been done with watercolor pencils.
There's also some accentuating with a white and black acrylic pen..
The buttons have been made with a cookie cutter, and air-drying clay.

COME join in the challenge!!!

I entered this in the Hero Arts Challenge of June..

SORRY this one is going to be published

That embellishment I made with white Fimo clay, stamped in it with the text stamp from Hero Arts. After baking the clay I colored it with Lumiere acrylic paint (Halo Violet -gold). Once it was dry, I painted it with a black acrylic paint, and wiped it off with a damp cloth. For the goldish shimmer on the embellishment I just rubbed a little bit Lumiere Gold over it with my finger until I was satisfied.

The background was done with various colors of distress inks on the craft sheet. Then ink your Hero Arts stamp with the inks on your crafsheet, give it a little twist to blend the colors a bit, mist the stamp with a little bit of water, and stamp it on your cardstock.
