Saturday again, so it's Katzelkraft day for me .. yet again...

I used the single stamp Maude here, and in the background the script from

KTZ40-02.

I sometimes like to use some scrapbookpaper, to match with a certain stamp. The die is from Memory box

It's a special time...

The tag was a tag attached to a new pair of jeans. Recycling it's called LOL.

I sanded the edges after adding gesso randomly with a creditcard.
I sprayed with blue custom-made pearl spray, stamped the image twice with brown memeto ink, and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. The fern on the card itself has been stamped with a stamp-positioner to get it stamped in the exact right place. The script in the background has been stamped with the same ink as the ferns, just not heat-embossed.

 I recycled pattern paper, and the front page of the Burda pattern to create this page.

A day in the life of me...

.... is the theme at Journal52 in week 12. 

Yes, I am a bit behind. 

Hope to catch up in a few days' time! 

 A day is always like a puzzle, all pieces fit together to make a day... I guess the missing pieces are when you just take a brake, or sleep, or whatever, just enjoy.. relaxing in nature, being on the phone, cleaning the house... 

I's a pity a day has only 24 hours, and we need such a lot of sleep.. hehe

Pan Pastel en .. crackle paint

HOW TO: 

Stamp or draw a heart, and fill it up with distress crackle paint, doesn't really matter which color you use, as you are going to cover it entirely with Pan Pastel.

 I had a happy accident here, as I was too impatient to let it dry all by itself, and it formed a bubble underneath the top layer of the crackle paint. It fell off in the next step. 

Rub some Pan Pastel in the cracks with your finger, and color the crackle paint too this way (or leave some areas the original color - your choice!) 

Fixate the pastel. 

Finish it off as shown, some accents of color and script in the background.

How to. :

Make the background by putting different distress inks on your craft sheet, put the cardstock in it, spray the cardstock with water, and put crinkled household foil on top immediately. Leave it on top until compeltely dry.

Stamp the image with a dark brown distress ink, and heat emboss with clear embossig powder.

Stamp the script with versamark and heat emboss with white embossing powder.

Stamp the script with distress ink in the background as well.

Doodle around the edge with a marker with solvent ink.

I feel so sad / Ik ben heel verdrietig...

Zaterdag een beursdag gedraaid op het AS event in Nijkerk. Het was geweldig. 
MAAR, er moet me wel iets van het hart. Herkennen jullie deze foto's van mijn eerste ontwerp bij Magenta? 
Deze zijn allemaal gestolen op het event, gewoon meegenomen, allemaal, het waren er een stuk of 7! 
Ik heb niet één van mijn voorbeelden over... Verdrietig. Ik zal maar niet melden dat ook andere voorbeelden gewoon foetsie zijn. 
Daarom mijn verzoek: wil degene die dit heeft meegenomen, het aan me terugzenden? Ik hoef niet te weten wie je bent, maar stuur het aub terug, mijn adres is 7906 EM met huisnummer 40 in Nederland.

Saturday I was on the AS show here in Holland in Nijkerk. The show was marvellous, I did demo's for Magenta.
BUT, I have to tell you something so sad! Do you recognize these photo's from my blog? They're some of my creations with my first design for Magenta.
These have all been stolen! All of them! There were about 7 of them.  I have no sample left of my first ever design. How sad!
Now for my question : will this person please send these samples to my address in Holland?
It is : 7906 EM with housenumber 40 in the Netherlands. It will get here then, where they belong.

Your favourite technique....

Playing with paper, stamps and color; in using stencils and stucture paste, and bookpaper, gesso and fibers...LOL 

I have a lot of favourite techniques, but I think you will recognize this as being the most used technique, so I guess this must be my favourite technique
