My Creative Monday for Magenta - a technique

I have a technique this time. 

Apply grunge paste through a stencil; ink up a script stamp with black and red ink; stamp into the wet paste. Remove the stencil, Leave it to dry. Color the background with some Nuance, sprayinks or watercolor. ( I've used Twinkling H2o watercolors).
Finish it off with a fussycut stamped image.

On this ATC the background has been stamped into, just as on the card, but without inking up the script stamp. Finish it off with a fussycut stamped and colored image and some transparent tape, or washi tape. 

Try this technique, it always makes for a beautiful background!!

Stamping with StazOn Rusty Brown and heat embossed with clear.. 

I had a mixed media christmas background, and thought to use (one of) these beautiful leaves on it... .
BUT .. none of them pop on this background.. so time for

...Plan B.. 4 autumnal cards..
all leaves were colored with Twinkling H20 watercolor paints..

A new and very versatile stamp in the new collection - this trio of branches.
Using up a colorful background (A Colorwash one) from my stash, makes creating such a joyful process!

Stamping a script in the background always gives a card some more interest.

Icy snowy scenes in winter.. fabulous (new) stamp for condoleance cards too.. an easy card to make... the stamp has it all..
and yes.. It is all about Love.

My Creative Monday for Magenta - Happy fall

This is all there is to this card:
a colorful background,
 gorgeous new stamps,
some accents with watercolor pencils
and a white acrylic marker.

The numbers have been stamped with Distress Oxide after masking the main image.

Creating this field of Rudbeckia's was fun. Cut out the top part of the collaged stamping and add a colorful background with stamped script as backdrop.
