My Creative Monday for Magenta - colorful!
I stamped the image on a colorful background, and then took the color away with bleach. The word "Hello" was stamped with bleach and then drawn with a fineliner.

Reliëf / Texture for Art Journey
The theme of the challenge this month at the Art Journey is texture;
I thought it was a good time to play in my smallest art journal for this!
ENJOY, I did!

The texture on the page has been created with various widths of ttissue tape, structure paste and... leftover pieces from a diecut.

The technique as on SCS, distress inks brayered over the embossing.
This is a variation on the technique as I colored it with Nuance..
The technique as on SCS, but now with Distress Oxides.
The technique as on SCS; this one turned out quite dark in the background, must be the paper.
.. also colored with Distress Oxides and sanded to expose some of the white of the cardstock again.
I enjoyed this (new to me) technique!!
Thanks SCS for sharing!

My Creative Monday for Magenta - heat emboss resist 2
The second heat emboss resist technique as promised last week!
AND as I love flowers I am also entering this technique in the monthly challenge of The Flower Challenge, which is embossing this month.
I've made an ATC to test the technique..
1. Sponge a piece of cardstock with distress ink. Dry thoroughly!
2. Stamp images with Versamark and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.
3. Tape a second piece of cardstock to the first so it folds the inked sides to the inside.
4. Mist the inked one with water.
5. Close the two pieces of cardstock and put it stacked through an embossing machine, like a Big Shot.
6. Now you've got 2 backgrounds with color, the first one has the sponged color trapped under the heat embossing.
7. Mask the images and heat emboss a script in white to finish it off.

Now for the technique used on a background for a card.
The colors are deeper with this version of the technique.. WHY? Because I did not cover the cardstock with gesso first!!

2019 #6 Fish: KIDS collage {by Ellie Knol}
I'm up on the Paper Artsy blog today with this FISH themed project.
Go have a look.. just a sneak peek here;
saves me a lot of time rather than programming it here as well :)

If you join in the themed challenge, you might be the winner !!
I particularly like the boy with the very interesting building as a backdrop!
.. it has a story.. I am sure!
I personally don't know the story, but I can imagine he will be able to tell you lots of stories! Maybe the song in this set was what he sang when fishing...
