My Creative Monday for Magenta - Egret in the moonlight

A little scene again, an egret standing in the moonlight. I stamped the whole image on the base of the card, and adhered the colorful part with torn edges over it.
The circles were sponged with use of the very handy stencils with circles.. the moon with a circle from the evergreen ornaments stencil.

I think I entered a new phase.. using a lot of red lately, and blues for that matter...

Have you seen the new product in the shop?

This foliage stamp is one that spoke to me.. I had to use it as a first! LOVE it!
With some stenciling and background script stamping on a colorful background, it's just a perfect stamp!

Creating in a circle...

My Creative Monday for Magenta - blue heron

I've made a whole bunch of ATC's with this beautiful blue heron stamp.

I had a look through my stash of backgrounds for ATC's, pieces of paper with some leftover inks on them, and chose the ones I thought would be nice to create a little scene.

The stamp can be used on cards as well, not just ATC's!

Art Journaling is fun!

The spread started out with adhering some bookpaper. It is a journal from an old book.. I gessoed the pages to reveal only a little of the bookpage's text.

Colorful Twinkling H2o's and some household foil made the background. 

I stamped some of the flowers onto watercolorpaper and adhered it over the stamped image to make it pop more. 

The quote is made up by me.. 😏

I LOVE these leaf stamps... they are very useful for any occasion.
I colored them with watercolor pencils. An easy card this time :)
