Darkroom Door challenge on FB

 

I am entering these in the Darkroom Door challenge on Facebook . 

The challenge is to use stamps/stencils on the gelliplate. 
When gelliprinting I LOVE to make more than one print as the prints get better the longer you print in general. 
ALSO: I like to monoprint with a tiny bit of paint rather than layered prints.

My Creative Monday for Magenta - A work of art on a circle

Everything about this Words and Phrases stamp makes it very versatile, even as the focal point, as it has such a beautiful font. 
The background: Gelliprinting with a tiny bit of paint and a stencil on the 10 centimeters round gelliplate.

This is book number 32 - for series 52

This time a book with a hinged binding.. 
It's basically an A5 sized book with watercolor paper as the pages. 

My Creative Monday for Magenta - Flower heart

To start this card I made a monoprint with a lot of thin dried layers of Fresco Finish paint on the gelliplate. 
Add extra color to the image, add script to the background and shadow around the images.

My Creative Monday for Magenta - playing with masks and stencils

Easy to create:
Create a colorful background; stamp onto it with script stamps; draw around the masks with a pencil; fill in the areas around the images with watered-down white acrylic paint (maybe 2 layers if needed); add some doodling with a white acrylic marker within the 'images'.

I think I don't have to mention that you need to leave it to dry between the steps.

I turned this background into 2 cards...

Rubber Dance new challenge - January 2021

A new year is a new month is a new challenge:  
Rubber Dance has a moodboard again. 
I used all the colors on a round gelliplate print except for the blues and greys.
So I stamped (and colored) with the blue and grey. 

This is the moodboard for January. Remember: it's just a moodboard, you may create anything with any colors for the challenge.
