Katzelkraft day again... with the beautiful Symphonie stamp set...

To post to the Katzelkraft blog today, is my 'job' again today....  


I enjoyed making these two .... They just happened,

First, stamp the text and heat emboss with clear embossing.  Make a base for the stamp with white acrylic paint and a credit card. Leave it to dry. Sponge the background with purple and green dye inks, clean up the acrylic paint with a wet towel.

Stamp the symphonie stamp with a solvent ink. Color it with the same dye inks.

For this one:

Stamp and heat emboss the text with clear embossing powder. Spray some Goosebumps on the cardstock. Stamp the symphonie stamp with a solvent ink. Sponge the background with purple and green dye inks. Color it with the same dye inks used for sponging.

This card was made with another one. 

After I stamped the images for that card, I still had some red ink on the stamps. 

I sprayed it with water and stamped it again - this is the result.

Saturday is.... Katzelkraft day for me ... tra-la-la-la !

I used the stampset Physalis kzt5302 from Katzelkraft for this background.

Can you remember this card I showed a few weeks ago?

This one is its sister. As you can see, they are reverses of each other.
How's that possible?

This one has been made from the scrappaper from the first one, you know, the piece of paper I used to iron the embossing off?!'That's why!!

I sponged that with distress inks, brushed water on the top part of the background and let it run down the bacground. This is the result.

As with the first card, I didn't want to cover the background, as it's got such a lot of interest by itself... so, I just colored scrapbook twine, made some knots, attached all of it to a CS, and .....  voila! Finito! 

O, yes, nearly forgot, this card has also got a little sister, an ATC, made from the leftover of this scrappaper... LOL. You can see the ATC here.

The tags before I added the stamped images. I first adhered some text from an old bookpage to the tags. They were covered with a creditcard and gesso (left), and white acrylic paint (right).

On this card I stamped with shoepolish, and used decoration chalks to do

the colouring... Only the owl itself has been stamped with StazOn timber brown.

It was really hard to catch the soft colours on a photograph...a scan was even worse!
