The rooster is a transfer, on top of the stamped image from Stamps Happen. I applied gesso over the stamping to fade it a little bit before doing the transfer with a medium.

Normally I don't like to use a sketch to create a card, but I had to choose - Clean And Simple is just not my thing... so difficult! The butterflies are 'embellishments' I made myself - so that's two parts of the contest!

Don't you just LOVE these stamps? I do! Especially the text stamp is one

of my alltime favourites, I am going to use it a lot, that's for sure!

USED: Photo's on a card

 

I colored the photo with PanPastel (first adding versamark with a watermark pen, just where I wanted some color.

 I stamped the inkstain stamps with StazOn and white acrylic paint. When dry I colored it with a red watercolor pencil.

Here as well, the stamping has been done with StazOn and white acrylic paint, except the rust color, that's distress ink.

I did a lot of collaging here, most of the pictures are from an advertisement from Djoser, the picture of the sea is from a book in which is explained how to paint (watercolor) the sea. 

This was fun to make!
