Hier een project dat ik al een tijdje geleden gemaakt heb... voor Kadocato

Komt nu goed uit.. HAPPY!

'van harte beterschap' !

Vandaag project 2 voor Designs by Ryn! Nog 3 te gaan! 

Op dit project heb ik een Inkerbell wens gebruikt om het aan iemand te kunnen sturen als beterschap-kaart!

Today the second project: 3 to come!

Voor het achtergrondje : spray inkt op kaartkarton, leg er gekreukelde huishoudfolie op en laat het drogen. Elke keer feest! De prachtige stempels van Designs by Ryn doen de rest.   

De druppels zijn op de achtegrnd gestempeld, en sommige ook op een rest stuk papier en uitgeknipt erbij op geplakt. Ook de schelp is er op geplakt, met verhoogde dubbelzijdige tape. 

To make the background was easy peasy:  just spray some inks onto cardstock, put plastic household wrap over it, leave to dry, and voila!  

The stamps from Designs by Ryn do the rest.. .. aren't they gorgeous?

The drops were stamped on the background, and also on a seperate pice of paper. I then cut them out, and adhered the cut-out drop over some of the stamped drops. 

Om dit kaartje een wens mee te geven stempelde ik 'van harte beterschap' van Inkerbell stamps op een strook papier, en plakte het er bij op met verhoogde dubbelzijdige tape. 

To have this card to be for someone being ill,  I've added these stamped words from Inkerbell stamps with 3D doublesided tape.  The words mean 'get well'!

Using up monoprints...

 ..featuring this beautiful golden oldie fish stamp .. and the script to give a finishing touch!   

The stencil of the leaves is a custom-made one!

How happy I am!   

It turns out that my name is on the list of winners for Tim's Tags of March 2015. I just had to share my excitement with you all!!

So glad Tim shares these great monthly tutorials ... and the fun and excitement of the challenge.

A new month at Magenta - April Challenge: easter

Yes , easter... come join in the fun on the Magenta blog! 

Interprete the theme as you like.. I chose for the color yellow, and March being the time of year tulips appear everywhere because of the springy weather, I used this beautiful silhouette stamp, and new life (spring) is new growth (sentiment). 

Of course easter celebrates Jesus Christ's resurrection from the dead, 

three days after he was executed. That is new life for all of us who believe in His love!

You may use that as your theme as well,  as long as there is some stamping on your creation!

I like being in a design team where I do not need to just use the newest supplies. The golden oldies are as pretty as newer ones... it means playing, and I don't mind that! You must know that by now.... 

the scrapbookpaper is just as beautiful as the stamps..

Script in background

Tekst gebruiken als 'onleesbare' script - dat is wat ik hier heb gedaan; geeft een heel mooi effect op de monoprint - net dat extra'tje. 

Ik heb het aan de binnenkant van de kaart volledig afgedrukt. 

Use text as 'unreadable' script, that's what I did here. it gives a beautiful effect on the monoprint - just the little extra!.

I used the beautiful text from Inkerbell : Voetstappen in het zand - 

(It's about life, that when things are difficult, God carries you in his arms. ) LOVE this !

Playing with stamps and color..

I like the mix of colors on this background. I made this card in a 'workshop', a first session with my future daughter-in-law... she liked it.. my son didn't like her being occupied other than with him HIHI - he will have to get used to it, LOL!

There's white heat-embossing, sponged distress inks, stamping with distress inks, misting that with water, let it blend etc. I also did some sanding.. this is me - playing with paper, stamps and color....

12 tags of 2015 - March

 Some fun techniques this month! 

HAD to try it. 

It's turned out very different to Tim's, but that's what it is about, isn't it? 

I used gold and white embossingpowder to color the structure paste. to get he dark and light of the tag back into balance. Just gold would've been too monotone, and this way the dragonfly gets highlighted.

 I am doing the Original Documented life project, the February theme being: 

Layers You Will Love!

 Art challenge for the February 14 week:  Cover Up Good Stuff!

The prompt is:  Going Undercover

Glad the challenge was not to cover up ALL good stuff, LOL! 

The original beautiful stamping with some Kaisercraft stamps went undercover. 

 Gesso, decoupage, color  and highlighting do the rest here!
