Bookpaper, stamps, a splash of color...

.. and stitching, makes for hours of fun!

The background has been made with watercolor crayons and gesso on bookpaper.  I stamped the cat on a piece of bookpaper that was painted with (diluted) gesso first.
I've added some stitches to the border of the background, it creates a frame around it.
All the stamps are from Lost Coast designs.
Those eyes say everything! :)

I am entering this in the challenge on
1. Lost Coast design - A splash of bright color
3. Vintage Journey - sew special

I LOVE to just play!

... with this golden oldie from Magenta. It's such a beauty!

Till next time!

Nuance has 20 colors now!!!!

Hélène Métivier - owner and DT member of Magenta - has
used the 5 new colors to create this card...

Color test: sprinkled and brushed with wet brush.

And she's made this one by sprinkling the 5 colors and spritzing with water on watercolor paper.  Once dried she stamped...

I dreamt...

I've made this card of a part of a monoprint, and heat embossed the poem onto it with archival ink and clear embossing powder.
The poem (Dutch, Inkerbell Stamps) is about our Heavenly Father, helping us during difficult times, in fact He is carrying us!

Spring is in the air!

The background has been made with colored crepe paper. When you wet it when laid on other cardstock, it will color the cardstock very randomly, and also blend the colors.
I splashed some white with a white acrylic marker - one that doesn't write that well anymore, but still gives splashes.

I am entering this in the following challenges:

1. IndigoBlu challenge - spring is in the air!

2. Stampotique SDC245 - Circles

3. Spots, Dots and Splashes on TIOT.

4. The Artistic Stamper - collage

5. The Mixed Media Monthly challenge - butterflies ans blooms

I've been playing with a round gelliplate and some Nuance.

And with some new stamps, of course!
The  'Juffertje in't Groen" (yes, that's what we call it here in the Netherlands) is one of my new designs for Magenta. I am happy!
.

Hope you like it!
