12 tags of 2016 - June

 My tag for the June challenge in the 12 tags of 2016 from Tim Holtz!

All stamps, stencil and die are from Ranger/Stampers Anonymus.
I did some faux stitching instead of real stitching! 
In real life the colors are warmer.. a more blueish green and terra and yellow.
The image is from an old diary from Marjolein Bastin.

Art Journal page with a butterfly.

I decided to just play, no DT-work, and then saw this challenge on the Simon Says Stamp challenge: a tic-tac-toe... easy!

I chose stamp, stencil and spray from it.
I used a custom made pearl spray to color the background.

I think I will add some black stamping in the background .... so this might be a work in progress.

Elegant bird...

It's so much fun to just play with color and stamps!
After making the background with a custom made pearl spray, I decolored the image with bleach. I whitened the bubbles with some gesso, and colored the others with a watercolor pencil.

"Dank je wel"..

A card for the Inkerbell DT blog today.. I like how this has turned out. 

The base is a part of an A4 monoprint. I colored the flowers with blue ink.. not happy...  pearlescent creamy and blue Panpastel.... still not happy... I added white accents with an acrylic marker, and added some touches of orange and red watercolor pencil. 

LOVE the effect!

It's really a one-of-kind card, I like that!

The poppy stamp is from Inkerbell Stamps!

....I've add a pearlescent PanPastel to the flowers...

Dream and Reality ...

I scraped some gesso over the background - that's why it has some whiter spots in the background.

ATC delicate

Hebben jullie de mooie ATC stempels van Inkerbell al gezien? Zo handig om te gebruiken bij het maken van je ATC's.

 ATC's maak ik vaak van een restje achtergrond. Dit was bijna in de prullenbak beland, een Art Journal pagina, omdat het papier alle kleur als het ware opzoog, en aan de achterkant er door kwam. Vond het toch jammer om het weg te gooien... en heb het in stukken gesneden om 3 kaarten en een ATC te maken.

Hierbij dus de ATC. Ik vindt het delicate in de kleuren heel mooi passen bij het bijtje!

I had a nice play with a round gelliplate again, and some water diluted Fresco acrylic paint (from Paper Artsy), a blue and yellow. You can see how this nicely blended into a green in the middle of the plate. I achieved that by brayering over the plate before pulling a print.
