Celebrate Winter team day at Magenta

We have another themed blogpost at Magenta, the theme is : celebrating winter! 

I do not really celebrate it, I'd rather have sunny and warm and colorful days, hehe! 

 I know - this is not normal for me (no color!), but I had to use grey and creme for a challenge.. so here it is... the contrasts are striking, though. 

I tried to give it the feel of an old postcard...

Gelliprinting with a beautiful stencil!

For these I have used a 10 cm round Gelliplate.. and had fun playing with the beautiful leaves stencil
(I LOVE this one!!) and acrylic paints. 

The ATC was a leftover piece.

Kingfisher ..

I did some Guest designing for Crafter's Companion with these beautiful kingfisher stamps ;
I chose to make an Art Journal page with it, and a Gelliplate print as the starting base.

Longing for the birds... 2

LOVE this design; it's so versatile, and very suitable for masculine themed projects too.

The background has been made with Nuance colours and the white accents with an acrylic marker. The extra color in the stamped images has been added with watercolour pencils.

Mini Album!

I am creating little notebooks lately to give away. LOVE doing that!  I've been into bookmaking for a long time now, especially restoring old books, giving them a new jacket for instance. ... and I still enjoy it, also because I can use these covers as a canvas :) ... It makes it a personal note book, and with the elastic band it looks so much more 'professional' ! Had to figure out how to do that pretty invisible on the insides of the covers. I think it turned out great. Not perfect, but hand-made should not be perfect, hehe. 

I've been playing with structure paste and stamping  (Magenta) ... and stencils and Coloration sprays from Art Anthology on these covers !

A wolf.. . standing in the cold snow, while the sun is about to go down... silence ..

The first range is without the added blue... which one you like most? I love the white one, without the blue on the snow and in the sky most...
