My Creative Monday for Magenta

I used this technique again to add some interest to the background: 

sprinkle a tiny bit of Nuance powder onto cardstock, mist with water and cover it up with plastic wrap. Leave the plastic on top until it's thoroughly dry. 

 

Add extra color with a watercolor pencil and white borders arounf the stamped image to make it pop. 

You will need a mask to be able to stamp the script in the background.

Kijk .. hier wordt ik nu zo blij van: prachtige stempel en mooie achtergronden! Gestempeld op vloeipapier met Versafine Onyx Black, heat embossed met WOW clear, varenblad en andere vlakken wit gemaakt op achterkant van het vloeipapier met Fresco Snowflake, met decoupage lijm op een kleurige sprayinkt achtergrond geplakt; sommige witte accenten nog bijgewerkt met een Posca acrylmarker. Wat wil je nog meer?
Look .. this makes me so happy: a beautiful stamp and nice backgrounds! Stamped it on tissue paper with Versafine Onyx Black, heat embossed with WOW clear, fernleaf painted white at the back of the paper with Fresco Snowflake, glued it to the background with decoupage glue; added more accnts with a white Posca acrylic marker.

Ik heb gisteren heerlijk zitten spelen met de prachtige stempels van Dina Wakley. Je kunt ze voor zoveel creaties gebruiken... ik heb het tot nu toe gebruikt voor een kaft van een boek, op kaarten en ook in mijn art journals.
Het woordje YOU komt van de Soul & Heart stempelset van Dina Wakley
De basis van deze dubbele pagina is een restachtergrond van het afbrayeren van  Paper Artsy Fresco Finish Paint. 

I had fun playing in one of my art journals yesterday with the stamps from Dina Wakley. They are so versatile... I've been using it on a book cover, on cards and on art journal pages.
The word YOU is from the Soul & Heart stampset from Dina Wakley. 

The base of the double page is a brayer cleanup paper from Paper Artsy Fresco Finish Paint. 

De insekten (Stampers Anonymus) stempelde ik op vloeipapier en heb het erop erop geplakt met decoupage lijm. 

De insects (Stampers Anonymus) were stamped onto tissue paper and collaged onto the pages with decoupage glue. 

 Ik hoop dat je het mooi vindt, en inspiratie vol..

I've been playing with this gorgeous collage stamp from Stampendous... a lot...

LOVE it..

I used it with distress inks, Distress Oxide inks, white heat embossing, tapes, Nuance powders.

Various techniques on all of them as well... it was playtime for me.. 

The script I've used on several of them is my own design for Magenta. (Just so you know)

I used this technique again to add some interest to the background: 

sprinkle a tiny bit of Nuance powder onto cardstock, mist with water and cover it up with plastic wrap. Leave the plastic on top until it's thoroughly dry. 

 

The image was stamped and heat embossed in white. 

With a sharp knife I removed the embossing in the cetres of the images. I like this effect.

A nice technique to add some interest to the background: 

sprinkle a tiny bit of Nuance powder onto cardstock, mist with water and cover it up with plastic wrap. Leave the plastic on top until it's thoroughly dry.
After stamping the image, I added extra color with Nuance.

Make a mask to be able to stamp the script over the flowers.
