My Creative Monday for Magenta - Foliage silhouette

 

An easy card again from me this week: summer and all keeps me quite busy outside. The image was heat embossed in black onto a round gelliprint and the script in white. As easy as that!

It's a very versatile stamp, easy to use. 
It's beautiful all on it's own, a colorful background as a backdrop is enough!

My Creative Monday for Magenta - Nuance fun

 

I am entering this in the July challenge for Stamping Sensations which is summer flowers. 

ATC's are fun to make. 

The flowers were adhered to a background of gel medium and Nuance; 
a technique I showed at the last Art Specially Event.

Art Journalen / Art Journaling day 10 "Art of nature"

  For me art journaling is playing with product without any rules. 

I started in a new journal and hope to fill it with a lot of pleasure, no time limit, no pressure. 
Using up some of my collage fodder in the process is a plus +

It's called "Art of nature" 

Nature in itself has a lot of color, structure, scents and our senses can pick that up. The beauty of it will never seize to make me full of joy as to what our Creator made for us to enjoy and treasure. 

My Creative Monday for Magenta - Girl Collage 2

As promised last week: a colorful version of the butterfly collage stamp. 

The background has been made on a Histor sample of a very light blue paint. As it is a watercolor background I could easily remove the color from within the stamped images. I painted parts of the images with a water-diluted acrylic paint, then added color to part of the images. 
I finished the collage by stamping some tiny flowers around it.

Art Journalen / Art Journaling day 9 "UITZICHT"

  For me art journaling is playing with product without any rules. 

I started in a new journal and hope to fill it with a lot of pleasure, no time limit, no pressure. 
Using up some of my collage fodder in the process is a plus +

It's called "UITZICHT" dutch for prospect, meaning for me as in view of the future; basis of this being the eternal life in Jesus Christ.  

The background is playful with a lot of layering of colors and textures, scraping in wet structure paste etc.
 The flowers are fussy cut watercolors I did a while ago (I have a whole fodder book full of them, in every color of the rainbow...  )

It's called "Natuur" dutch for Nature.... 

This page depicts my love for nature, created by our Father in Heaven so beautifully. The pictures are from a book I purchased from a thrift store called Flowering Plants Of the World by V.H. Heywood. 
I bought a second book one of this book (this time a dutch version) also from a thrift store, and chose the lesser one for ripping pages out, which turned out to be the english version. When I had only one copy, I could just not start on ripping pages out, lol. 

It has a ton of beautiful illustrations!! Grab a copy if you can find one, if you collage fodder to be used in creating. I paid 8 euro for the english version, and only 1 euro for the dutch one. There are several copies online varying from around 10 euro to prices I would never pay for second-hand book.  

Coring the background has been done with Twinkling H2o watercolors. 

Leftovers from 2020 Topic 21 Fresco Finish Fun with TS (by Ellie Knol)

I've made some cards from leftovers of a post I did a while ago;  masterboard fun with Tracy Scott stamps and stencils for Paper Artsy. 

I promised myself to use up what is lying around half-finished. 

I added some more color to the backgrounds to make the white of the stenciled area pop more.

I hope you got inspired to dig out some leftovers that deserve to be finished into finished art. 

I gave these cards (among others) away as a thank you to somebody for hosting a coffee-drink evening after holy communion on Sunday.

My Creative Monday for Magenta - playful with watercolor markers

 

Playing with watercolor on bold stamps is fun. I used a stamping platform to be able to stamp several times of course.
