ATC swap Magenta - hosted by Mariette

Mariette hosted an international ATC swap on the Magenta blog a few weeks ago. I had to swap with Janet from Mauritius. I chose to do all of them with some insects.... Hope Janet likes them!

Pssssst - You can't really see it, but all the wings are coated with some Glossy Accents. It makes them pop a little..

There is some (green) glitter and glossy accents on the leaves.
I decided not to cover it entirely with glitter (as Tim has on his tag), because otherwise it would not have the typical fall colors on it. Hope you like it!

Elegant shoe...

Did you miss me, using Katzelkraft stamps every Saturday?

... because of the nice weather I decided to take a break from trying to make something every week for DT's I'm on. 

It's autumn here now, so I am in my crafting studio more now!

Nautical and beeswax

 

I used some beeswax to make the images pop!

Altered tin with a lot of texture!

Still time to enter in the challenge on TIOT!
The challenge is to create something with some texture!
  

 I had messy fun altering this tin!
 I first glued some blotting paper to the tin, with gel medium from Golden. Then I added pieces of fabrics, and some ordinary flowers to it, also with gel medium, the centre of the flowers are beads. Then I painted everything with gesso, and sprayed with glimmermists.

I then decided it was too dark, too monotone, and added some white acrylic paint to

make it pop,

Now I don't know which of the two I prefer, LOL.
