Art Journaling is a way to run away from home...

   Just a personal note before I get to the art journal page:

I am in South Africa at the moment. So I added this text now, as this journal page has been created before I left the Netherlands about 3 weeks ago. The purpose of this journey was to celebrate my mom's 90 th birthday on the 19th of March.

Her Creator chose to take her Home for ever on the 4th of March.

I will still enjoy SA for about 10 days. Have to get home quickly as I will become a grandmother for the very first time at the very beginning of April, God willing of course. 

  

HOW TO: 

Start with a black piece of A5 size cardstock. Adere some torn pieces of bookpaper and cover it with some gesso. Apply Structure paste over the stencil and leave to dry. Sprinkle some Nuamce powders over the page and mist with water. Leave to dry. Stamp the butterfy collages in the background. Stamp the wording onto a seperate piece of white cardstock, cut it out and adhere to the page. 

LOVE the intensity of the color ..  

I've added some white accents to the edges of the stencilled structure paste.
