Ellie here with you today sharing a fun technique for a large background (masterboard) to be cut up to make several cards and ATC's.
I will only share the finished ATC's today.
Leave to dry.
Cover the whole surface with watered-down white gesso using a palette knife. Immediately dab gesso away from areas you want to preserve more than other parts with a damp cloth.
Leave to dry.
Leave to dry.
Add extra color (I added light green only) to the background.
For today's post I finished the four ATC's only, I will share the four cards on a later date.
Enjoy!
This is such an easy way to create multiple backgrounds in one go.
Hope you like it and got inspired.
