Newborn wall hanger - for my grandson..

I am up on the Art Anthology blog again today..
...  with a wall hanger for a newborn baby.

Fishes...

Playing in my art journal means I am allowed to try out techniques....without being bothered about the end result. 

For me, it meant playing with the beautiful new stencil from Magenta... .

... AND the newest Nuance colors !!  

All coloring has been done with these colors of Nuance.

Katzelkraft ATC's -1

The month before the Art Specially event I created a whole bunch of ATC's. I gave them to Beatrice from Katzelkraft to give away. 

Here are the first four... more to come.. 

Flowery playtime...

I had a nice play in my tiniest Art Journal booklet, the one with torn edges I've created in this post a while ago.  

The background has been made with a piece of a tumble dryer cloth covered with gesso. 

I colored it with Nuance by brushing the colors over the surface vertically; 

and to add more interest I added some color with a watercolor pencil as well.

The flower is a newbee from Magenta!

WORKSHOPS... Yes!

I started giving workshops at home (I've been doing workshops elsewhere)... as they are given in Holland I will switch to Dutch now. 
You are most welcome to come join of course! 

JA... ik ben begonnen met thuis workshops geven; 

iets wat ik al heel lang op mijn lijstje had staan maar dat er tot nu toe gewoon niet van gekomen is.

Gistermiddag de eerste echte workshop thuis gegeven ... (als je vorige week niet meetelt, Willy de Bruyne 😉 )... en wat was het gezellig!  

Ik heb zelf dít boekje gemaakt; en om even bij het onderwerp workshops te blijven, eerst,
laat ik aan het eind van dit bericht nog een impressie zien van gistermiddag, o.a ook wat de workshop deelneemsters hebben gemaakt.  

 De workshops staan onder het kopje WORKSHOPS bovenin op mijn blog. Of je kunt het vinden op : Kom spelen met papier kleur en stempels!

In principe biedt ik iedere Vrijdag en/of Zaterdag een workshop aan.

Dusss.. heb je zin, mail me wanneer je kunt en welke van de nu 2 beschikbare workshops je zou willen doen.
Over 2 week (19 Mei) komt de WS0001 LAYERS workshop aan bod,
en de week daarop (25 of 26 Mei) wil ik weer een WS0002 Kraft Book workshop aanbieden.

Home decor time !

I am happy to be with you today sharing a piece of home decor 

made with the beautiful Colorations Sprays and a stencil from Art Anthology. 

I think this will be gifted to someone in near future; only if I can part with it, lol!

... and playing with gesso, ephemera, structure paste and a stencil ....

... and some Colorations Sprays ...

... will give you an artsy gift!

Spring makes my garden be colorful again !

Have you seen this beautiful new background stamp ?

I've used it to heat emboss it in white and then sponging over it with distress inks.

Gelprint with Nuance...

On this card I started making a light background with Nuance on the gelliplate. 

Masking it with the beautiful leaf mask and sponging it with some distress inks makes the background pop. To stamp in the background, stamp over the masked leaf. Add some white highlighting and a little bee.  

LOVE the color combination, do you ?
