My Creative Monday for Magenta - doodling with stencils

Doodling with only a stencil: sponging with distress inks will define the edges.
It makes it easier to doodle within the images.
Doodle some extra elements and create your very own composition.

After doodling, give some of the areas extra color.

Happy Place on holiday ..

2 gelliprinted backgrounds from me today...

...with stamped images of the Happy Place stamp set,
the holiday themed ones.

****

To have them blend in with the background I colored the images with watercolor pencils...

... and to make them pop even more, I added white touches with an acrylic marker.

My Creative Monday for Magenta - acrylic paint and tissue paper

I LOVE to try new techniques..

.. and onto ATC's with a description on the back makes it easy to categorize them ..
I share some details of them below the pictures:

(363)

Paint waterdiluted acrylic paint onto tissue paper, just randomly, and a fairly 'dry' brush.
On this I've used green, red and white. Use part of it for a background.

(364)

Fairly the same as the above, but use the paper side (the back) of it for the background. When dry, sponge the edges it with a green distress ink.

(365)

Paint waterdiluted red acrylic paint onto tissue paper, just randomly, and a fairly 'dry' brush. Leave to dry.
Paint white acrylic paint onto a craftsheet, and dab the paint with the same paper. Use part of it for a background. When dry, sponge it with a green distress ink.

(366)

Paint waterdiluted red paint onto a craftsheet, and dab the paint with tissue paper. Use part of it for a background. When dry, sponge it with a green distress ink.

The flower on all of them has been heat embossed in white and extra color applied with watercolors.

PS ..(the numbers next to the picture refer to my technique box)...
