I’ve got a step-by-step for you today! I stamped the image, and made a mask to cover the snowman before stamping and sponging.
Stamp the tree twice with gesso. Leave to dry.
Use
some torn masking paper to be able to sponge over to get hills and
clouds. I sponged with Distress ink faded jeans and stormy sky.
Take
the mask off, clean the trees from inks, paint some gesso over the
bottom of the snowman. Splat some waterdrops onto the inks, to get
‘snow’.
Draw some snow on the branches of the tree.
Color the scarf, hat and nose, some black at the bottom of the branches to get some shade. Stamp the birds. Adhere to your card.
The stamps are all from Katzelkraft!

I love this snowman card. The tree is so pretty and the background sets it all off beautifully. I appreciate you kind comment on my blog post from last month. To answer your question about the stencil I used, It is a Prima mask and it was a pack of two different flourish masks. I hope that helps. Enjoy your evening.
