My Creative Monday for Magenta - gesso as a base

Before I started to color the image I covered the whole background with transparent gesso.

This was to be able to take away color more easily .. 

I worked very wet onto the flowers and dropped in the color (Nuance)and let the water do the spreading of the colors. When dry I added some depth with watercolor pencils. I stamped a script to tie the whole together.
